This review is from: B-Balaenoptera (Toy) Bought this for my 10-year old (almost 11) nephew for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. This is a pretty big boat (maybe 16-18 inches long). My nephew used it on a small pond and it worked well. It's pretty fast and powerful.
I believe this boat would be too big for a small swimming pool. Perhaps a regular size pool? Not sure.

= Fun: = Educational: This review is from: B-Balaenoptera (Toy) Failed after about a month. I was impressed with how well the boat performed in the beginning. My son had it on the water a number of times (maybe 10). Then one day at the pond in the park, my son drove it around on the water for a while until the battery ran down (normal occurrence). Took it home. Charged it up. But, it wouldn't run after that. Took it to the RC shop and they said the controller went out. The motors still worked fine. You can by-pass the controller and the propellers spin, but you can't control boat. Great if you want a torpedo. Not so great if you want to drive it around. To order a replacement controller cost about the same as buying a new boat. So, it would have been great if the controller hadn't failed.
