Don't waste your money, please, this is a complete piece of junk, January 16, 2011 By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Harbor Tugboat 24" Remote Control Model Speedboat - Already Built Not a Kit - Wooden Scale Boat Model Replica Maritime Nautical Home Beach Wall D�cor or Gift - Sold Fully Assembled We purchased this toy for our son who saw it and became obsessed with it. It was a Christmas present. It has never worked. The construction of the boat is of very poor quality, it is not balanced and tips when it runs in the water, the remote control doesn't work consistently, and when it does work it's range is about 15 feet, regardless of how new the batteries are, and I cannot believe that it costs as much as it does. The reason we did not return it is that our boy wanted to keep it and try to "fix" it as he loves to take things apart and learn how they go back together. Since he seemed to be having fun doing that, we kept it. To this day we have taken it apart 3 times. I am qualified to write this review because we never returned it. The remote control is a very cheaply made piece of plastic junk, similar to the boat. I wrote the company that I purchased it from (can't remember now as it has been over a year) and they acknowledged that it was a poor quality toy, but offered no... Read more
