It goes fast, and the price was extremely reasonable. I have 2 recommendations: 1. go ahead and buy an additional battery for the boat. The battery life is short (15-30 min). If you buy another one and charge it up, you can pop that one in when the first one runs out and play for almost an hour. 2. Don't drive this boat in a body of water that you cannot swim in! If it gets out of range of the remote control you have to go in after it. Also, if the battery dies while you are out at sea you will have to go in after it. Other than that, we were extremely happy with the size, weight, and look of the boat, as well as the performance. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?  
9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Looks good in the box, May 24, 2011 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: RC SYMA Racing Boat 22" R/C Electric High Powered Blazingly Super Fast Balaenoptera Musculus Cruiser (Toy) This little boat would be a lot more fun if it were easier for children to turn it on and have the battery last longer. The instructions were comical for the adults, not sure what language they started out in, but the movie "Lost In Translation" came to mind as soon as I read a few lines. We were seriously laughing out loud at the instructions. I hope that in the future, companies that are making products to be sold in the US have to be able to supply the consumer with information that is actually written in proper English. I have my doubts as to how durable this toy is, and didn't realize it wasn't to be used for more than 15 minutes at a time? Guess it will be great for kids with short attention spans? I spent $41 on it and one of the motors stopped working on it. The other just keeps constantly spinning and won't respond to the remote. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!
