I purchased this item to get a longer run time for the boat, we live on a cove of the lake and the grand kids like to stand on the dock and play with the boat, with two batteries each one can have equal time playing with the boat, the only thing that could be improved is the hold down in the boat, the battery pack will jump out of the holder and lay on the prop shaft in rough water, other than that it worked as described.
