Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Traxxas 3340 Cooling Fan Velineon ESC (Toy) I bought this because my temps were getting out of control running a 3S. I already fried on ESC without it and now the ESC is never hot no matter how hard I run it (Only one Battery at a time). Pair this with the motor fan!

This review is from: Traxxas 3340 Cooling Fan Velineon ESC (Toy) This product is very nice for your traxxas truck . I have been hearing people say that when you get dirt in the fan it messes up and stops working . Well , that kind of common since there. All you need to do is buy the Gear Cover, Clear: Slash 4x4 or any other cover that will fit your model to keep out the dirt , so then the electronics will be protected and covered up and have a cooling fan to keep your esc cool. Over all It's a very nice product that will only do good .

After taking it apart I found a small amount of dirt in it from the area I was driving my Rustler through. I had tried to spray electric cleaning solution in it first to try to repair without any luck. I don't think it will give you a problem as long as you keep it squeaky clean and don't drive your traxxas in any dirty areas but where is the fun in that?
