 Great combo, just need to update the packaging...see below, January 25, 2013 This review is from: Castle Creations 010-0066-07 Mamba Max Pro ESC with 5700kV 4-Pole Motor (Toy) The combo is great. Mamba Max Pro is an uber ESC, just not waterproof, but it's an electronics, so not a negative point against it. The motor's torquey and high revving, so it's tons of fun. The only "issue" is... When I received the package, the combo's packaging box still says "CM36" motor. I was like WTF I BOUGHT A 1406 4-pole neu-castle motor combo. (CM36 is the older version that's only 2-pole). I ripped the box open, and thankfully, it was a 1406 motor in there. Castle, please update your packaging :) Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?  
 Fun, March 18, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Castle Creations 010-0066-07 Mamba Max Pro ESC with 5700kV 4-Pole Motor (Toy) Installation was pretty easy. Be aware that you have to solder 2 connections. (Must have a soldering iron & soldering wire) to complete the install. Also, look closely when it says programmable by usb (there is a chip & wire you have to buy separately). Other than that, this motor/esc combo fit perfectly into my Rustler without any major modifications. The motor is pretty strong and you will have fun with it. I would google search this product for other reviews because everyone says this motor gets hot pretty quickly. I have yet to see if it does do to the outside temp not getting over 60 degrees. The esc can handle 6s lipos, the motor can only handle a max of 3s lipos. If your looking for a motor to bash with, I recommend going for a lower kv rating such as the 2200kv.
