Fun Chopper! Take your time learning to fly it!, January 26, 2012 By = Durability:

This review is from: Double Horse 9104 3.5 Ch 70cm Helicopter w/ Built-in Gyro RTF Take your time and have fun flying this helicopter. I really enjoy flying the Double Horse 9104. One of the items that you must adjust for it to fly well is the angle of attack on the swash plate, but do not over do it. This is done by pulling the arm leading from the servo to the swash plate off at the buckle. If you do over adjust it, it will not fly straight. You may also need to put a small weight or two in the nose cone. Some people use modeling clay. I used bubble gum and small lead fishing weights.
Be careful when you plug the battery box charger to the battery. If you accidentally plug it in upside down, it is likely to damage the charging box and you will have to order a new charger. I recommend marking it so you can clearly see which way it is supposed to plug in.
Please note, that I believe it is cheaper to buy two 9104's and use one for spare parts, or one to learn on, and then keep for parts. I say this because I have spent more on parts than I... Read more

I was used to some of the bigger indoor coaxials and I could hover over a dime. This thing has a wide flight area. No wind and plenty of flying room equals good life. I have trees, my helicopter likes them....a lot. First 9104 flew great (not so much into hovering) but flight is easy. For what ever reason my tail rotor glitches and sent it into a tree. No worries, cockpit cracked but it still flew. Took it to a ball park and had a great few minutes, but on the return trip either it got out of range or something glitched. I lost control, no response and end of first 9104. 40$ later it is fixed but the board is bad, so no flight. Also they sent me a replacement tail with the motor on the wrong side. I made adjustments to it and I am thinking side shouldn't matter with adjustments to tail trim. Newest one took a Gust of wind and sent it into the ground. Well, I thought it was okay, but somehow the swash plate servo flipped itself... Read more
