Good hpi sturdy plastic. the light buckets are just fine for what they are meant for. dont listen to the other comment. I painted it black and it looks great. i own a 2012 subaru legacy amd was looking for somthing that came close to appearance. this was the best i could do. fits a 1/10 nitro exceed no problem body post divets were exact. great product...using it for my drift body

I would have given this purchase a 5 star rating but noticed that the light buckets were very thin as apposed to the body itself and broke as sooon as I tried drilling the holes for the LED's. I also noticed that the light bucket molding were a bit misshaped.

All in All a great addition to my collection.
