My nephew immediately took it outside and it works so well on rough terrains. Also a plus is that it comes with batteries. The only thing I can complain about is that you don't have a choice in what color(s) it comes with so when we received it, it was our opposing football team's colors lol. No biggie though, it was dirty before we knew it. The delivery was prompt and the package was not destroyed when we received it. I would recommend this to anyone! very rugged, April 5, 2013 This review is from: Maisto Tech Rock Crawler Remote Control Monster Truck 4x4 R/C RTR (Toy) I was very happy with this purchase. This thing drives over small stumps, rocks, big sticks, gravel, grass and anything else you ram with it. I have used it for several hours already and the included batteries are still powering it.
