this is one great helo I paid $86 bucks for mine including shipping over at banggood, but the mods are a huge help, heat sinks, lipo battery, canopy mod, landing skid rubber nuts, this bird is not easy to fly should have some flying behind you before trying, that said, I love how this handles, smooth, hovers great, great head speed even into wind, love that you can control the percentage of use on your sticks I like 85%, default is 90%, makes much more easy to fly, no dual rates on the remote but at this price that be asking too much this computer really tried to go towards the hobby end grade on this helo, once I completed my mods it fly's just as good as my $159 Walkera V200D02 and better than any Eflite Blade, so if your into the market for a good 4 channel but the hobby grades at over $150 is to pricey and the lower grade double horse not enough power this is the bird, watch my video I posted here, that was my very 1st flight and after the mods were all... This is my 3rd heli ever. I'm been slowly teaching myself to fly so I can shoot aerial video. I'm a videographer by trade. So, all my heli purchases are based off my end game, which is to fly a DSLR. The MJX F45, for me, is a solid step in that direction. I was easily able to mount a GoPro to the front and relocate the battery for stable, balanced flight. The F45 lifts the additional weight of the GoPro without the housing (slightly less than the stock battery) without problem. I can still easily control the heli, even in a slight breeze. I have been able to fly the F45 higher than I should given my skill level. I've learned a ton with this heli. It's my first 4ch and first single blade. I've crashed it an embarrassing about of times and it's bounced back with very little damage. It even survived a huge fall shown in the video, with a camera attached, and still took to the air afterward (although it now flies horribly and needs repair)... Read more

This review is from: MJX F645 F45 4ch LCD 2.4GHZ Large Single Blade Rc Helicopter (Colors may vary) I decided to buy the MJX F645 4 channel helicopter after reading many positive reviews, including that of Dan (THX Kid). It was also on sale at a local retailer at a great price, and spare parts seem to be readily available as well. The radio is 2.4 GHz and has a longer range than the 27-40 MHz offerings. All plus points!
My only prior experience was with 3 channel co-axials, and I don't have access to a simulator. I didn't even have training landing gear attached. I am also not a video gamer, and was never any good at them either (just mentioning all this to indicate that I have just average hand-eye coordination skills!)Yet I was able to take this helicopter off, fly and land safely. The remote has the option to select what the manufacturer calls "Mod 2", and I selected this, since it resembles 3 channel control setups, in which the left stick controls throttle, and the right stick controls elevator and rudder. Experienced pilots would select what the manufacturer calls "Mod 4"... Read more
