Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Redcat Racing Tornado EPX PRO Buggy 1-10 Scale Brushless Electric (Toy) I purchased 2 of these one for myself and one for my son (who's 8) this thing hauls azz, its fast, almost too much for him to handle, i have to keep him in an open area. It's brushless so the motor is not limited. ive upgraded mine to a sky lipo 4000 mah battery and have gotten it up to 50+ mph. my son has crashed his a few times, its durable but not in-destructive, he has bent one of his front shocks and front dogbone, they are easy to repair and the parts are cheap. its loads of fun. i would recommend this to anyone just starting into scale RC's as a hobby. when i get time i will post video so others can make an informed judgment

Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Redcat Racing Tornado EPX PRO Buggy 1-10 Scale Brushless Electric (Toy) Unbelievable speed and power, Seems to be built well. Control is very precise. Lots of fun. Great suspension almost like a full size buggy. Handles the bumps well. Battery life depends on how you use it.

INSANE, September 13, 2012 = Durability:

Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Redcat Racing Tornado EPX PRO Buggy 1-10 Scale Brushless Electric (Toy) I believe I've already left a review for this product however my wife and I have put a few miles on it now and here are a few updates:
- 2s LiPo is a must have... toss the included NiCad (whatever it is)
- good on the street however you will need some street tires from a online/local store.
- parts are cheap... buying a extra car for a complete spare is cheaper.
- can easily be changed from 4WD to 2WD by removing the main or front shaft(s)
I noticed 2-3S on the ESC so I purchased a 5000mAh 3S and tested it... INSANE!
This required upgrading to bead-lock wheels and foamed street tires or else they fly off.
THROTTLE on 3s: 1/4 is touchy... 1/2 is steady... and 3/4-FULL is like 100-shot NOS spinning tires and popping wheelies.
For those of you that have NOT YET tried 2s or 3s LiPo I say get one of each... gives you an hour at full-throttle and all the fun you and your car can handle.
