 Simplify, and add toughness, March 14, 2013 This review is from: RPM 80952 Front Bumper/Skid Black Slash Black (Toy) I was a little wary about how this mounts up, since it deletes the upper shock-absorbing oval shaped brace from the stock setup, but even after several head-on collisions with objects of an immovable nature, I haven't seen the slightest bit of damage beyond surface scuffs. Since it only mounts on the underside via the skidplate, and the skidplate itself is a bit narrower than stock, it frees up a lot of space around the frontend, making it easier to wrench on/in that area, and easier to clean after bashing. It does look a bit weird at first especially in profile, since you now see a noticable empty space between the wheels under the bodywork, but overall I feel like the looks are improved.  Perfect fit for Traxxas Rustler, February 26, 2013 This review is from: RPM 80952 Front Bumper/Skid Black Slash Black (Toy) I attached this to the front of my Traxxas Rustler for added protection. It bolted on just fine using only the original 2 screws from the stock skid plate. Now I have a great skid plate AND bumper that actually protects the car during front-end collisions.
