Replaces the S022. Turned out that it had a bad moter (1 of 4) and that caused lots of problems. Amazon took it back (even after the 90 days) and I got this one. Same basic product but it is a world of difference in flying. You will not be sorry to buy this. You still need to have a basic understanding and skills at flying remote control helicopters but this one is easy to learn from. Thank you Amazon!

After some initial trimming and seting the controls on the most responsive, helicopter flys well. Able to fly outdoors in little or no wind. Have not had any problems other reviwers menthioned with the 72 mhz version.

But interesting to fly, as you REALLY have to pay attention (it's larger size requires more space than the smaller 'copters). A bit erratic sometimes in responding to the controls---especially the one time I flew it out of doors (it just decided to go up and up and up---luckily I got under it and got it to come down and caught it.)
Battery life (flight time) is less than other helicopters also.
So, a good product, just not as fun to fly as say the Cobra or the Coast Guard helicopters.
Of course, "fun" is entirely subjective.
