 Great car., December 29, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Team Associated 2042 Nitro TC3 Ready-To-Run Plus (Toy) I bought mine secondhand with a worn out engine. Replaced that with an OS engine significantly stronger than the factory unit. Car does not care. The drivetrain shows no signs of wear and tear despite the engine being so powerful that anything over half throttle results in a four wheel drift at any speed. I also converted mine to rally spec and run it in mud, snow, dirt, even very short grass. Again, the car does not care, able to handle running on these surfaces as well as it does on pavement itself. All I had to do to convert it to run on these things is install rally tires and lift the ride height using the built-in adjustments. The suspension is 100% stock. If you want a durable everyday beater that can race on sunday and tear donuts in a ball diamond on monday with little more than lifting the suspension and tossing knobby tires on, this is a great car for you.
