This Traxxas silicone-based grease works very in the differential, which we clean and repack after every three or four hours of use. The Bandit's differential is not closed, so thinner grease's or liquid lubes get pushed or flow right out. This silicone grease is a bit thicker than the heaviest liquid lubes so it stays in a while longer... still, it is kind of thin as compared to other marine and farm differential greases that we have, so it must be repacked on a regular basis.
Since we run off-road in grass, sand and dirt a lot, that's OK as we breakdown our cars and truck after a few hours of runtime anyway.
Try it and see if it is good for your use. The tube is small, about .16 oz (maybe 5 grams), so it is good for a couple applications.
