This review is from: Traxxas 3623 Skid Plate Front and Rear Stampede (Toy) I'm still amazed at how sturdy Traxxas trucks are, but since they are also very fast, you are bound to break them at some point. If you don't, you are not driving them right :-). But when you do, you will be glad to find out Traxxas spares are inexpensive. They are easy to find, easy to buy, easy to replace and reasonably priced. This particular part was very easy to replace, even after a 65mph frontal crash against a wall that would have made shreds of any other vehicle I owned (if they reached that speed). Other manufacturers usually charge you 30-40% of the toy's price for a spare, knowing you are stuck with them. With Traxxas, you can fix your truck ten times and still spend a reasonable amount of money. This, along with high quality, makes these vehicles last forever.
