Really hard to put together, but works., February 19, 2013 This review is from: Traxxas 5151 Half Shafts Center (Toy) I got these for the steadicam project that most people are getting these for, and you actually get four seperate pieces, with four half shafts and four metal joints. However, combing two half shafts into one gimbel joint was insanely hard. The pieces holding the metal sphere in the plastic piece are pretty thick, and I had to put the whole thing in a vice and spread the plastic parts as hard as I could with pliers to get one of the balls out, and had to get someone else to help me combine two shafts into one gimbal joint, using a vice, pliers, and a hammer. However, although not super fluid, it seems like it'll work pretty good for the steadicam project. Just be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease to put these things together. It's nice you get 4 of the little metal joints and half shafts, as I thought I might break one of the half shafts while making the steadicam! I will update this review when I finish the steadicam and get some use out of it. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?
