1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Does what it is supposed to do..., August 21, 2012 This review is from: Traxxas 6814 Center Differential Kit Slash 4x4 (Toy) I am not a racer, so my review is from a basher perspective, though I do have a track in my backyard which I use for impromptu races. I wanted to improve the cornering of the truck on my backyard track which is made up of a lot of loose dirt and wood chips with some hard pack here and there. The slash was hard to control in the turns. The truck would spin out a lot when trying to put power down coming out of the turns. With this center diff, I noticed a difference right away. Coming out the turns, it hooked up a lot better and controlling the direction became easier. It does affect wheel spin dramatically during full throttle starts, so wheelies and such are harder to do. My use has only been with 2s LiPo batteries in the stock Slash 4x4 brushless, so your experience may vary depending on what type of motor, battery, etc. you are using.
