She bought some spray paint made for plastics and proceeded to spray two coats of paint per can instructions. The car includes a thin plastic layer to make it so that you can over-spray without painting the outside of the car (very nice!). The spray paint went on well, but the end result, because so much of the body already has decorative stripes and such was a bit disappointing. Not very much pink shows through. I'm aware that they also sell a completely blank car body, but she wanted something with some graphics on it. We'd both like to see an option with less decoration ... somewhere between the blank and the existing model. The pink still shows through, it's just not as intense as she would have liked. Thankfully, it's not a huge investment, and it added some personality to her car, so it was still a fine purchase.
I'm convinced my handiwork with the stickers (for lights, windows, etc.)... Read more
