Unless it's dead calm outside, limit your flights to indoors - a space the size of a 2-car garage or larger. Takes about 2 hours to charge and delivers 8.5 min. of continuous flight. I did see spare batteries advertised for $10, I'd say that's worth it. Comes with a nice collection of spare parts - rotor blades, tail prop, outrigger fans, and a screwdriver. I managed to break one of the skids early on but fashioned a prosthetic. And I cracked one of the rotor blades (easily replaced). I was surprised this was less than $50 - a robust and stable trainer for the inexperienced pilot. Practice indoors before taking it out on a (very) calm day. Flies like a mosquito in any kind of breeze - straight into the nearest tree. That's probably true of most helos.
