The good:
Stable in flight
Very bright LED lights that can be turned off from remote
Acceleration button on remote
Looks sharp
Can withstand most crashes
The bad:
Price - Helis of this type and size can be found for much less
Availability and price of replacement parts not as good as other brands

They had fun with them but they didn't last long. So, my husband found this helicopter and ordered it from Amazon. It's been a big hit! It charges quickly and is easy to operate and control...and so durable! The lights can be turned on or off. They've had a blast with this RC. We would highly recommend this helicopter.

Unfortunately, although the rotors spun and everything else seemed operable, the helicopter would not achieve lift-off. I charged it up to full capacity twice more, and it was never able to leave the ground and hover. I live in the Rocky Mountains at 5,000 ft., so perhaps altitude has something to do with it? The unit also showed vague signs of slight wear out of the box (e.g., small scuff marks on RC controller and plastic helicopter cockpit). This may have just been from the manufacturing process or packaging, but I wasn't entirely confident that it was brand new. Unfortunately, I had to return it.
