would be better with pitch control, December 26, 2007 = Durability:
= Fun:
I've been thinking about getting into RC helicopters and thought the micros might be a fun way to get started. This is an INDOOR heli and it will fly for about 4 minutes on a 20 minute charge.
On first flight it took off rather easily and after adjusting the trim (as explained in the instructions) I was able to get it to "float" (key word here) around the room. The lack of pitch adjustment means that you can't really move it backwards or forwards... just up, down, right and left. The instructions mention that once you get better at flying you can add a little weight to the nose to increase the forward speed. I haven't tried this yet.
This is a fun little gadget that does pretty much what I expected of it. As for durability I have knocked it into a few things at slow speed and it has held up so far. I would guess that if you drop it from ceiling height or slam it hard into a wall that it will break. I would also take care when plugging in the charger as it is... Read more

Fun, inexpensive, easy to fly chopper, August 14, 2008 By For a mere $30, this helicopter is hard to beat. The twin contra-rotating main rotors cancel out the torque/spin effect and make this chopper easier for beginners than comparable products that have only one main propeller. Some people have reported trim/spin issues, but when I flew this thing it needed no trim at all and the trim control was always set to neutral.
As far as foam-bodied rc choppers go, this thing is fairly durable. It has survived mid-air attacks from a cat, as well as hard crash landings and collisions with wall fixtures, and it still flies. Once I flew it into the ceiling fan, and it lost one of the lower blades, and even with only 7 main blades instead of 8, the chopper STILL FLEW! Replacing the broken main blade was pretty easy, and the replacement blade kit is also inexpensive.
The chopper has left/right turn control, and up/down control, which is all you should expect for the price and size. Add a small paperclip to the nose and it will have... Read more

What customer service? Not at Interactive Toy Concepts!, May 5, 2012 = Durability:

This review is from: Interactive Toy Concepts BladeRunner BlackGhost 2CH IR Control Helicopter (Toy) My husband found Interactive Toy's cute little Wi-Fli helicopter at the local Radio Shack. It was on sale and we thought it might be fun. And it was - for the 15 minutes it worked. In no time at all it had stripped the plastic gears and would do absolutely nothing.
After numerous unreturned calls during the first few weeks of January 2012 - all at our expense long-distance to Canada, no less - I broke it down on February 27, figured out what I needed to fix it, and ordered the parts online. Well, at least it LOOKED like I'd ordered the parts online. I THOUGHT the order had gone through (this after several calls to the company to find out why the website wasn't working right). And that's where the real trouble began.
After a couple of weeks and no parts, I checked my credit card account online and found I'd been charged $50.00 for the parts I'd ordered. But no parts. On March 26, I finally managed to get in touch with a guy in IT (same guy my husband had spoken to... Read more
