This is great for a beginner like me. I especially like that is does not require any batteries. My ANDROID phone works great for the adapter after I downloaded the Free app off the market. (Apple users - I did look at the App Store, you have to pay $0.99) Anyways...they delievered my package before schedule and I am cheap so I did pick the Free shipping. I was surprised how smooth it was. Sadly, my flying is not as smooth. I do want to apologize to my kids...sorry. I am still learning how to fly. You might want to have no one around to learn to control. I have hit myself a couple times, I was remaking King Kong apparently. In time, I am getting use to the controls. Roll Tide!, December 13, 2012 This review is from: iPhone Controlled Syma S109G Apache AH-64 3-Channels Mini Indoor iCopter I love this helicopter and I like not needing 6 or 8 AA batteries to operate the transmitter. You do have to charge the heli and the transmitter that plugs into the speakerphone jack on your smarthphone. That's still better than handling a bunch of AA batteries. The instructions also say the light on the USB cable should illuminate and then it will go out when the heli is finished charging. Mine is the exact opposite. It will illuminate when the charging is complete. Other than that, no big deal. I would definitely buy another! Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

Affordable and entertaining. Do not get the iphone version. Transmitter sucks. Subpar performance on iphone, samsung galaxy 2, and ipad. Get the version with battery rc.
