I'M HOOKED!!!!, March 17, 2011 By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Mini Indoor Helicopter Hawk Talon V3 Gyro by TEAM RC 2011 VERSION I can't believe all these bad reviews, I love this thing. I bought it on a whim at a mall and I immediately was addicted. It is easy to fly and extremely durable. I let my girlfriend play with it and now she wants one too. It's been a long time since I've had and kind of remote controlled toy other then a t.v. and really I'm not that interested in them but I love helicopters so when I saw this I figured it's the closest I'll probably get to the real thing for awhile. Thank god I didn't read the reviews here first! I have had nonstop fun and accually miss it when I'm at work, that sounds a little wierd I'll admit, but you'll understand when you get one. I have crashed it countless times in all situations possible and the thing never breaks. Unfortunately one of the main blades finally met its demise when my dog snagged it out of mid air. But even that took a half a dozen times before it finally broke. She had gotten a couple teeth marks on them with prior attacks and it still flew... Read more

After about a month the helo started having problems with upper rotor not turning and the battery wasn't getting a full charge for flight time of 10 minutes. So I ordered my second one. This one has lasted 3 months is still flying great and my grand kids love watching me fly it. This is the best thing since I put a swing up in the back yard. I read some of the reviews about quality. I'm sorry to hear some have had problems. All I can say is the units coming from Team RC have been great. The price is amazing for what these little helicopter can do. One thing to keep in mind when flying these little guys. They are very susceptible to convection cells and cross drafts. Flying around open stairwells can cause unexpected movement. And big plus with these is the pivoting blades. You can run into walls,... Read more
