Fun!!! My 6 year old handled beautifully in less than 15 minutes, December 25, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: My Funky Planet My Web RC Micro IR Metal Iron Eagle Helicopter (Toy) This is an amazing well priced introductory RC Helicopter. We got it for Christmas for our son who had asked for an RC Helicopter. Wasn't sure if it would be a good idea for him but he's handled a basic RC car pretty well and other reviews said this was a durable product so we took a shot. My son shot through the roof this a.m. when he saw it, I had already charged it up, so we went over to my church gymnasium and flew it around. In the first charge time (15 minutes or so) he had it well under control and was even landing it on tables and such. Very easy to use, the trim knob works great to keep it hovering without rotating, and the 15 minute flying time is pretty good all things considered. Only takes 30-45 minutes to full charge again and we've already gone through 3 full charges running the thing around the gym. It's crashed a few times, fallen off of a few tables, and we just put it upright and it was good to go. No damage done. It's well balanced so even if you cut the... Read more

crappily made, November 8, 2012 By Clarissa Cosby (Utah, Ivins) - See all my reviews This review is from: My Funky Planet My Web RC Micro IR Metal Iron Eagle Helicopter (Toy) seems pretty sturdy with the metal and all, but everything that was not metal seemed to break. thing in the big spinners broke off. we got that replaced. then the back roter practically chipped off a screw. fixed that with duct tape and jewelry wire. XD then i figured out what caused all the crashes. (noticed it when it got worse somehow.) the wiring in the power switch was fidigy and would turn off during flights. causing it to crash. problem finally worsened till i would actually continuely have to press down on the switch to keep it on. still trying to get refund from company right now. they have not replied back for a while. 2 stars just because it could have been fun if it worked. im being way too nice. much of a disapointment.
