Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: NEW Syma S031 24" ALLOY Frame 3CH Gyroscope RC Helicopter ORANGE (Toy) Recieved Product in time for sons birthday. Helicopter fly's nice if there is NO WIND. Helicopter is very durable, has crashed a few time's with out damage. It will fly for about 30 minutes between charges. for the money it was well worth it.

Do Not Buy this Helicopter!!! It exploded and caught on fire!!!, June 27, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: This review is from: NEW Syma S031 24" ALLOY Frame 3CH Gyroscope RC Helicopter ORANGE (Toy) We plugged the helicopter in to charge and after only a few hours, in the middle of the night it exploded and caught our curtains and wall on fire. We were lucky because the smoke alarm went off just before the explosion so we made it downstairs and put out the fires. If we were only 30 seconds to a minute later that whole corner of the house would have caught on fire. If we didn't have a smoke detector, we seriously could have died. This was a really close call. This helicopter should be recalled. Please don't buy it because it isn't safe!!!!

An amazing price, these are expensive in stores! Very durable, it holds up well to a 9 year old boy! And it is much nicer then I thought it would be. Ir is a high quality item. Get at least 1 pack of replacement blades if you give this to a child learning to fly! That has nothing to do with the quality, just how it goes with all helicopters!
