He has crashed it multiple times and its still going strong. It's a bit difficult to fly, but I'm sure with practice it will get easier. The charge time is around 60-70 minutes and gives you 7 or 8 minutes of flying time. It also has the capability to record a video on a 1gb Micro SD Card. We recorded a couple of videos and watched them and the quality is just fine. Not high def, but not blurry either. Clear enough for a fun little video. He really likes flying RC airplanes, and this Black Swann helicopter offers even more challenges and excitement for him than flying airplanes. On Christmas day and evening and the next day and evening, it was timing recharges, then on with flying and taking video.
