I bought this for my brother and he loves it. Every now and then I play with it as well. A friend of mine has a helicopter from the same company and he modified his remote so he does not have to hold the throttle. You can do this by removing the batteries, then remove the charger cover door on the back of the remote. Take out the 4 screws that hold the remote together. Please be careful because there are loose parts in it. After you have it apart you can then remove the spring off of the joystick by unhooking it. Do not remove the spring from the from the screw, as removing the the screw while there is pressure on the spring can rocket the screw out and hit some one or damage the treads of the screw making it impossible to ever put back in. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FLY OUTDOORS AS IT IS SMALL AND WILL GET CARRIED AWAY BY THE WIND AND THE IR ON THE REMOTE DOES NOT LIKE SUNLIGHT IT IS A INTERFERENCE.
