I flow it indoors and outdoors. Outdoors it will fly very well in as much as a 10 MPH wind and hover steady as a rock. The quad is tough as nails. I've flown into the dirt a couple of times. Just dust it off ad fly off again. Syma has finally produced a radio that is reliable and easy to hold in the hands ( unlike the s800 remote, too tiny). Trims well with center beeping, and flies in both mode one ( like the S107 Yaw on the right ) or mode 2 ( Yaw on the left ). The thing that helps with flight is that it has to be on a flat surface until the blinking stops (gyros need to calibrate ). Throttle full up and back. Then throttle up slow, until it hovers. Then play!. Flip button works well. Push down and hold the flip button then full stick in the direction you want to go. Hope the hints help a bit.
