This is a great helicopter for the price. The quality of this is really good. the main complaint of a lot of reviews is that it's tail heavy and has trouble flying forward. Well I've flown RC planes for years and learned that nothing flies exactly right just out of the box, you have to do some tweaking, you have to balance the planes. So with this helicopter. I made the tail section lighter by unloading the metal tail boom support bars, that don't support anything, the horizontal stabilizer, and their fittings, left the vertical stabilizer on, test flew it, with no wind, instead of wanting to fly backwards it hovers dead still in the air with no input. it is now very stable, equally obeying my inputs to go forwards or backwards. At first I thought it was a transmitter problem and reported this to the manufacturer, however that turned out not to be the problem. The helicopter never flew and as I found out, the lower roter had a problem, as it was not properly fastened to the drive shaft. The fastening screws could not tighten and the heli had no power. A little disappointed since my son was so really excited to receive this beautiful looking heli, and following his total satisfaction with the S107.... which he has gone back to playing with. Best RC Copter for the Novice!, January 9, 2013 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: (Yellow) Mini 3ch Gyroscope RC Military Inverted Flight Helicopter w/ Gyro (Toy) Always wanted to get into RC helicopters and knew the expense would be up there from what I've seen and personall know from a friend who's invested in Nitro RC Copters. None the less, I wanted to start low and work my way up and this is the perfect way to do so. Sadly I found a guy at the Indiana State Fair selling this same unit for $299.00 plus tax. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that so I got the model number and found it on Amazon for the low price that I did, under $60. This to me was a great value! This uni is just like real copter in the movement and the way it fly's. It also makes your mind think on the dynamics of flight, control and just the overall means that it takes to fly, which has to inspire younger kids about flight and maybe science.
