Pretty good little helicopter, December 25, 2011 = Durability:

= Educational: This review is from: YIBOO UJ4805 AVATAR 4 CHANNELS RC INFRARED HELICOPTER This was a gift, and I am pleased to have it. The flight model is a bit different than other R/C (remote control) helicopters I have seen. I have not flown any other R/C helicopters. There are the usual anti-torque counter-rotating blades on one vertical shaft. A 'vernier' knob on the transmitter helps trim the torque rotation, so that the helicopter remains pointed in the direction you chose. A tail rotor is in the horizontal plane to pitch the nose forward, or back; thereby allowing for forward and backward flight. There are two horizontal outrigger propellers on the left and right side of the fuselage that spin when the 'Rightward', and 'Leftward' buttons on the transmitter are depressed. These propellers begin to spin, one side faster than the other to nudge the helicopter 'rightward', or 'leftward'. There is a throttle control on the left side of the controller, and a collective control (joy stick) on the right side of the transmitter.

Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: YIBOO UJ4805 AVATAR 4 CHANNELS RC INFRARED HELICOPTER We order 2 of these helicopters for Xmas after testing a Yiboo unit on a shopping mall. The product description states this helicopter was an original Yiboo so I order 2 due to this and the price. Turns out they are just some generic brand and not original products from Yiboo. The helicopter quality is actually not so bad and after playing with them for a couple of days hard, they are still holding up very well. The problem with this unit is the quality of the controller. It is of a very poor quality and very poor signal strength. If I ply with the helicopter inside the house it works flawlessly, however the moment I tried to play outside any sign can interfere with the controller and the helicopter flyes in any direction it wants on its own or don't fly at all. This repeats every single time even when the controller is within a foot of the helicopter. I will not recommend this seller to others.

if the main rotor shaft is bent because you let your buddy fly it and crash it from about 35ft. The only downside to this
awesome Chopper is that you really cant replace the rotor system without cutting the wires that run through the tail shaft
to the tail rotor, other than that it is Awesome to have and i recommend it to all!
