I bought this for my 5 year old son, so my review is mostly about his experience with it.
1. This is not very fast, which works very well for him because he can control it easily. Even for me, it's not a huge negative, but I would like to have little more speed, as I would think older users would as well.
2. Steering is not great. It does the job, but turning radius is not very good and when the batteries go down, steering is affected more than forward/backward, making it even worse. Though, for my five year old who doesn't quite grasp the idea of subtle turning, it works great.
3. Off-road abilities. AWESOME! I was really surprised about how well this thing can crawl over things. My kids would lay down and it would go right over them.
