It seems to be made pretty well and goes a lot better than any other low end electric RC I have bought. We have ran it around several times since Christmas and the standard Rayovac alkaline batteries are still going strong. It can run over toys at least half its height and give the cats a pretty good run for their money to :-). My only compliant is the range of the remote. The one I got will only work 20-25 feet before it start losing connection. Overall a great buy for the price. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

Remote control ruins it, December 31, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Maisto Tech RC Rock Crawler Jr. (Toy) The truck can climb stuff. It's not great at steering or control but it's not terrible either. What really ruins the experience for me is the extremely short range of the remote control. After it's about 8 feet away from the controller it stops working. Chasing the truck around to make it work is not my idea of fun.
