After you charge the battery for the required time and plug it into the quadcopter it is one of the easiest RC toys I have ever played with. It has this button on it called the 360 button, when you have the craft about 20ft. off the ground push this button. The copter will do a complete three hundred sixty degree flip. be careful though because it will take a dive so be sure its high enough so you can recover. Buy this and you will be very happy.I look forward to using it all the time. This toy will not collect dust. I recommend to ages 12 and up.  Not so much, April 10, 2013 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: UDI RC U816A UFO Quadcopter 2.4Ghz with 6 Axis Gryo (Toy) Battery cover is cheap, broke after three uses. The battery cable is to hard, and depending on how you replace the battery, the cable throws off the trim every time. Remote Control does not maintain trim memory so after the quad's battery dies after 3-4mins of use, you have to re-trim and waste time and battery. Would be a great $19.99 toy. Not bad but not good enough, April 5, 2013 This review is from: UDI RC U816A UFO Quadcopter 2.4Ghz with 6 Axis Gryo (Toy) Well, it's kinda tekky-cool and sort of fun but has its limits. A) you have to take the battery cable off to charge it (hard to pull, wonder when the wires are going to get pulled out of the snap connector - should have just let the charger male part go into a female port near battery somewhere), B) instructions are weak and takes some unnecessary figuring out, C) the battery goes quick and takes too long to charge (think like 30 min or so) D) LED headlight is a waste as you can't see crap in the dark anyway and finally E) when the protective body came off the substructure once it vibrated after that. E) may have been fixable but no patience at that point. All that complaining notwithstanding, is nice to ram into stuff while on the learning curve and not have plastic prop pieces flying all over and it's pretty fun for a kid. Too much $ for what it is. Just as well off with a $25 Syma or whatever they are called helicopter, almost as fun for 1/2 the price. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
