perfect step up - none better !, August 3, 2012 This review is from: Align T-Rex 500E Super Combo Kit with Motor, ESC, 4 Servos, Gyro, and Carbon Fiber Blades (Toy) first of all Align is known as one of if not, the leader in high quality , high performance R/C helicopters .
the 500e is a fantastic kit - you could step up to the 500esp , but maybe putting your money into a good charger and a several battery packs would be a better idea ,
when you crash ( you will crash ) you can add/upgrade to the fancy aluminum parts if you like .
If your serious about flying R/C helicopters and your ready fot the next step , take a serious look at this helicopter , if your considering the t-rex450 , forget about it and get the 500 . the 500 super combo also provides you with good(not the best but good ) electric's - motor , electronic speed control (ESC) and servos . they are perfect for the learning curve , you will need a radio , battery's , charger , tools for build and set-up ! but good tools , they are worth it at the start!
