1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Great tail blades, can handle occasional grass cutting and dirt, December 20, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Carbon Tail Rotor Blade Set, New (2pr): 450SE (Toy) These blades are plastic (maybe they have carbon in them too?) but they are not carbon blades. I've noticed that at my local hobby stores they also call them carbon blades so it must be something to do with how the distributor labels them in their catalog. Again these are not carbon, but plastic. These blades have become my tail blades of choice. I'm not a seasoned pro flying advanced tricks yet and the unfortunate reality is that I scrape the tail, have occasional grass cutting issues where the tail turns on takeoff etc and these plastic blades handle problems like this better than the carbon ones. These might get nicked up but they don't explode and break like the firmer carbon ones do. Save those expensive carbon ones for later, use these as you are learning. This is the set I prefer and use, in the 2-pair per pack so I always have a backup set. 4 stars, great blades for learning and every day flying. It's always wise to have spare blades (main and rear) available in case one breaks/cracks/is bent... However, the advertisement is incorrect (for the price, you're getting what you pay for). The price was fair enough for what I got but I will not buy from the seller again because of the deceiving description.
