Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: iPhone/iPad/iTouch RC Controlled 3CH i-helicopter withi Gyro (Toy) This toy was a gift for my husband who loves gadgets. He loves this toy and has had so much fun with it. He has crashed it a couple of time and a few of the plastic pieces have broken off. I do not recommend this toy for children because it breaks easily. For the price, it is an amazing toy.

Hate it, don't waste your money., December 10, 2011 By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: iPhone/iPad/iTouch RC Controlled 3CH i-helicopter withi Gyro (Toy) I bought this because I love gadgets and a helicopter that is controlled by an iphone is right up my alley! Right out of the box it didn't work! It got off the ground and then the top rotor broke immediately a few seconds later. No crash - just broken. Boo! Took it back to the store and bought a FastLane Hawk 4 intead. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE HAWK! It is super precise and flys beautifully. I'm really disappointed with the iFlight copter because it looks really cute and it's such a great idea to fly it using a free app for the iphone but I tell you what, if I had given it as a gift I would have been sorely disappointed and so would have the recipent. I am urging you not to waste your money until they figure out how to make it more durable, even right out of the box, and improve the structure so it can actually be played with and enjoyed by adults (who know how to fly these fun little things). This helicopter is difficult to control in the first place, especially for beginners, so crashes are inevitable. After using the product for a few hours, I was just learning to fly it pretty well when a crash displaced some of the gears and rendered the toy as trash. The battery life is very short - the helicopter will only fly for about 5-10 minutes before recharging is needed. Unless you like flying helicopters into trash cans, don't buy this item.
