2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Happy with the purchase, December 31, 2012 This review is from: CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter (Toy) I chose this size do to restrictions to fit train car I am mounting it to. I have taken apart due to the fact parts were not glued together, but snapped together. After finishing repairs, I will paint to match realistic CH-53 in color and detail. It was made in China, and I know the low price was a factor. I'm going to enjoy having this go on the flat car and run around the display as soon as it's done. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  With some Sharpies, some glue, and other bits...., December 4, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter (Toy) The first CH-53E needed repair parts. Since then I have been able to make snazzy desk models for friends at the office who work on the CH-53E and MH-53E. Sharpie pens and Sharpie paint pens do well to add detail and improve the camouflage scheme. Elmer's glue is essential to install the strut found on the tail rotor and support the stabilizer fin. The antennas, pitot tubes, and other details can be added using leftovers from plastic model kits. Just received my most recent pair of CH-53Es...Starting work on them tonight. Homemade refueling probe/mast can be inserted on pilot's side of cockpit area. DO NOT SET ON LANDING GEAR...Keep CH-53E on mount. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Poor quality control, January 16, 2012 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter (Toy) The helicopter arrived apckaged well but when i removed from the package found the pilots side glass on both sides had been painted over(light blue),looked at the aux fuel tanks and landing gear they had been installed backwards with the fins of the fuel tanks pointing forward on the stub wings which also put the rear landing gear to far forward.Repaired the problems myself but would not buy any die cast from this manufacturer again.
