This review is from: Cobra 3 Channel Radio Control Mini Gyro - Colors May Vary (Toy) I bought this toy for my 10 year old daughter, and we loved it the first few days. Learning to fly it was challenging, but we eventually got the hang of it after a few bumps into walls and hard landings. My daughter picked it up much faster than I did and was soon flying it on her own without my help and enjoyed it quite a bit. However, on day 3, after one flight that veered slightly into a wall, one of the rotors on my helicopter stopped working. I tried to troubleshoot it myself with no success.
I emailed Cobra Toys customer support explaining the problem and how we had been flying it and got a timely response telling me to check to make sure all of my gears lined up. They did, and everything seemed to mesh together, but the motor just didn't seem to activate. I explained this to my customer service rep. She said she needed a copy of my receipt and a picture of the product to process the warranty. I supplied all of this only to be told a few days later that the... Read more

His first one lasted about three months before the remote control failed to work. He asked for a replacement at Christmas. The second one lasted less than a week before the helicopter broke, and his grandfather, father and uncles were unable to fix it. That said, it provided lots of enjoyment -- but it was disappointing that it had such a short life.

Would charge it up and fly around for about 10 minutes... Then let cool and charge it up again. I used the USB charger. After 2 weeks, went to turn it on... lights blink so battery is OK... but helicopter will not WAKE UP! New batteries in the control box too... So, I will be calling Cobra Toys for warranty... Will let you know how they respond...
