stable small flyer, November 28, 2010 By = Durability:

This review is from: Megatech Verti-Car Red (Toy) The best part is that the tripod wheels provide a stable landing surface. The driving part is powered by the twirling heli--blades. When you crash land as you will at the beginning the tripod of wheels keeps the helicopter intact. I wish there were spare parts such as the flybar available. Its hard to turn on the air and on the ground. But all in all my 6 yr old loved the two propulsions available and found it easier to fly than other airborne toys.

Yet to see it fly!, September 28, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Megatech Verti-Car Yellow (Toy) I gave it TWO stars because despite barely getting off the ground (according to my husband and 6 yr old birthday boy), my son still loves to show to friends. He wanted a remote control flying car for his bday last minute, so like any mother, I did a search to find the one present my son announced that I had never heard him mention before, nor had I ever seen. This is the best I could find for a match, but hoping that I can find the box to return it, bc it just doesn't work well!

Not easy to control, January 22, 2011 By Think About Stuff (starving in film development, Los Angeles) - See all my reviews = Durability:

This review is from: Megatech Verti-Car Red (Toy) I'm an adult and I thought to get the Verti-Car as an office space flyer on breaks because it would be fun and intriguing. Everybody loves to watch a model helicopter flying. I found it to be essentially stable, and as one other reviewer noted, the tricycle landing wheels make for safe, breakage free landings.
But the Verti-Car is also somewhat difficult to control. That is to say it's movements are not precise. I've owned several co-axial and single rotor helicopters and they were all more precise than the Verti-Car, which seems to need constant trimming to avoid spinning itself in circles. And it tends to constantly wander from, say, flying a simple clockwise pattern around the room. For that matter, real forward movement in the air seems almost non-existent.
For a similar price, I recommend getting one of the Syma S107 gyro helicopters. The gyro system in the rotor results in one of the most precise and controllable small helicopters on the market.
