Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Syma S113G Apache Military Coaxial RC Helicopter w/ Gyro *NEW 2012* 3.5ch Syma S113G Apache Military Coaxial RC Helicopter w/ GyroPerfect step up from Syma S109G, this copter is a little bigger, about a foot long, but handles just as well, taking into acct it is bigger, not quite as quick, but steadier. Give enough power so lower and upper blades don't hit ea/other. Trim is easy and works. The S109G Syma S109G Apache AH-64 3.5-Channels Mini Indoor Helicopteris the best smaller (9") copter I've tried so far, has a dedicated (USB) charger, the S113G is bigger, has a dedicated wall-plug charger, both preferrable over the "charge from the remote" method, wh/ takes the charge from your battery pack/remote, thus discharging your AA batteries... DON'T BUY CRAP...Get a H-911...seriously!!!!!! (I'm NOT shitt'n U), March 5, 2013 By L dub (The Wild Side) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Syma S113G Apache Military Coaxial RC Helicopter w/ Gyro Nothing against Hero RC, but Syma should have never released this product, if they're not embarassed, they damn well should be...:-(
As P-O-S products go, this is at the top of the heap IMO.
I only WISH that I'd paid attn to the reviews stating that it loses contact with the "so-called" controller.
I have a 109G, that I STILL love...great lil' toy spinner...VERY durable!
Thinking that I was "upgrading" to a somewhat larger version, I pulled tha trigger on this P-O-S...BIG mistake...!!!
I REALLY wanted to like this copter... so much so, that I "Franken modded" it (6 batts in tha "so called" controller instead of 4...juice'n it up to 9v, modded antenna wire, etc...etc...etc...) to a point where I considered it unworthy to return.
Hey...I know...like I said...I REALLY wanted to like this copter...:-(
DO NOT waste your $

Poor Signal, February 13, 2013 By = Durability:
= Fun:
This review is from: Syma S113G Apache Military Coaxial RC Helicopter w/ Gyro After reading a few reviews, and the seller dont helping me with my issue, i decided to post a review too.
It has a really poor signal reception. I had sent emails to the seller, telling them sometimes im barely 3 meters away from the helicopter and i lose range of it. According to specs, it has almost 30mts range, i can barely get 10% of that. Its very well made, and can take some beating, coz mine has dropped down several times because of the same issue, and still has no damage at all, but it really bothers me that i gotta be 2mts close to the helicopter to not lose signal and keep in mind u got a huge antena from your transmiter, so its not funny at all.
I got another Symas, infrared ones, and those got more range indoors than the S113g that is radio controlled (27mhz)
I had taken it outdoors on a calm day, and my range is a little bit higher, but nothing near 30mts or 100 feet (thats what Specs say), can barely take 6mts and its already falling down out of... Read more
