This review is from: Venom Micro Rescue Heli - White (Toy) Ok, first off your local hobby shop is suppose to give you a list on helpful tips it says trim it to stop the uncontrollable spinning. Also i believe this is a very good product i got it from my hobby shop and i love it is so easy to control you have to get used to flying a helicopter r/c one of the easiest r/c's i've used though! Also only fly indoors because the wind tends to knock the helicopter over and shoots to the ground, if you are a beginner get this helicopter.
Thanks,
Rich

oNE THAT FLY'S, January 10, 2009 By = Durability:

This review is from: Venom Micro Rescue Heli - White (Toy) It's small, but among the easiest to program to hold its position. I get 3-5 decent charges out of fresh alkaline batteries. After that it stays up for a shorter period of time, doesn't fly as high, and response gets slow and erratic. When newly recharged, it went 20 to 30 feet in the air.
I added a large paper clip to the nose, which changed the angle of flight slighty, and then could make it go forward more often.
I plan on trying rechargable batteries, which may produce more good recharges.
I have used it primarily outdoors with little wind, crashed it onto concrete road, and into trees, side of house 30 or 40 times. I had to apply a drop of glue to the front where the two sides started to open up, but no real problem. I give it a high grade for "takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin."
I also tried 4 Air Hogs $27+- helis, and only one was I able to stop spinning, which I sent to my very happy 8 year old grandson.

Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Venom Micro Rescue Heli - White (Toy) False advertising or unauthorized substitutions. They did not send the Venom Micro as described and shown. Instead, they sent something else that they feel is equivalent. How dare they make an unauthorized substitution! If they had called, then I could have said "No." This is exactly the kind of internet chicanery one expects to not experience with Amazon. I am shocked that Amazon would allow this kind of dishonesty into their system. Amazon had better fix this with their A-to-Z or I will never purchase anything again through Amazon.
